ICTEV 2002 State Conference - Enhancing, Engaging, Empowering

The Annual State Conference is on again for IT Teachers and teachers who use ICT within the curriculum. This year’s conference will offer something for teachers from Early Childhood, Primary, Secondary, VCE, VET and universities.

• Nine workshops to choose from on the latest technology and programs used in schools

• Presentations ranging from technology planning to classroom activities

• VCE/VET presentations on current developments and directions

• Panel sessions on current issues

• Trade and School displays

• Twilight Cocktails and Networking Saturday Evening 4:30pm to 6:00pm

• Conference Dinner – Melbourne Grammar School – Saturday 7:00pm

MGS Information and Learning Technologies Exhibition VCE Student Centre

Date: Friday May 3

Designed to coordinate with the ICTEV State Conference on the following day, Melbourne Grammar School will
run an Exhibition of Information and Learning Technologies on Friday May 3, a series of interactive presentations
run by staff and students to showcase how notebook computers and Learning Technologies are used at the school.

Melbourne Grammar School has a strong notebook program and as such is exploring, experimenting , trailing,
and implementing a vast array of technologies, from true and tried ones to cutting edge ones, in order to
enhance the curriculum of our students from Prep to Year 12. Come and see what our children are doing with
computers!

ICTEV members and conference participants are most welcome to join our celebration with parents, students and staff.

Cancellations
There is no refund if less than one week of notice is given to the ICTEV Office. Cancellation prior to this will incur a $60 cancellation fee.


Parking
Parking will be available at CARE Parking, 13-21 Palmerston Crescent, South Melbourne. The carpark will be open from 7am until 8pm. Map available when you download

The venue can be reached by public transport, with the closest train station being 'Flinders Street'. The St Kilda Road tram can take you from the station to the corner of St Kilda and Domain Roads. To check further public transport details: www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au

Catering
The annual conference is fully catered with continuous tea and coffee facilities. Those with special dietary requirements should complete the appropriate section on the registration form.
