Guidelines for papers / presentations

Guidelines are given below for file format, and style. Please adhere to these as it will allow a more rapid turn-around from submission to publication, and minimise the amount of editing necessary to convert a document to HTML.

Papers/presentations should be sent electronically as a WORD document. If possible put graphics within the file, otherwise send as an attachment in GIF or JPEG format. Other files such as picture, sound or animation files should be included as separate files, and are preferred as .WAV and .MPG or .AVI file. The general editor reserves the right to request the author to convert the submission to an acceptable format. Please work within a 4 Mbyte limit, including all accompanying files.

We will of course accept traditional paper formats, but hypertext permits much more. A paper can be split into a number of related links. If you keep in mind when writing the paper that you will be using Hypertext, it permits greater flexibility. It allows you to place text that would usually end up in an appendix or footnote, to be placed on a separate page via a link from your paper. You can also include graphics, video and audio clips.

The final paper submission should be a minimum of 500 words and a maximum 2500 words in length and contain no more than 20 references using either Times or Times New Roman font with point sizes as specified below.

Author Resume
It is recommended that the author submit a resume, with photograph, to accompany the published paper.

Margins - 2.5cm all round
Spacing – single line
Single column

Title
18 pt, bold, left justify
Author(s)
Under the title, author and affiliation in bold 10 pt
Email: italicised, 10 pt

Abstract
The abstract should be in 10 pt italicised font with a 2.5cm left and right indent. It should summarise the scope and results of the paper in a concise and accurate manner without references to other works.

Headings
12 pt, bold, left justify

Sub heading
10 pt, bold, left justify

Body of text
10 pt, left justify

References
These should be in the Harvard or APA style. 10 pt, hanging indent.
