An introduction to Actionscript 3
Please bring your own laptop (Mac or PC) and have FLASH CS4 installed, which can be downloaded from www.adobe.com
Please check that your computer is running satisfactorily before attending and that you have administrative access.
Flash CS4 embraces ActionScript 3. which is very different to the previous versions of Actionscript. ActionScript 3 was built with efficiency and productivity in mind. Not just efficiency in development, especially for larger projects, but also playback performance where code in ActionScript 3 can be played back in the Flash Player up to 10 times (if not more) faster than ActionScript 2 code. In this session to introduce this program, it is assumed that you have no prior knowledge of Actionscript, and the aim will be give you confidence with the basics of this latest version, and ensure your students are exposed to the cutting edge If you have an interest in the concepts of programming, then you will find this an ideal forum to establish confidence ito get you going.
