ICTEV Study Tour Professional development


Eastern Region Schools
This outstanding day study tour in Eastern Region is being offered by the ICTEV. The tour will commence at Mount Waverley North Primary School, and then Milgate Primary School and Anderson Creek Primary School. Participants will travel by bus to these venues. The bus will return participants to the first venue. Lunch is included

Software for Learning and Literacy Difficulties
This is a day especially for all teachers who are helping students with literacy difficulties (primary, secondary and tertiary and parents). Whilst this day offers much for the mainstream student, an important component of this day will be the exploration by practising teachers and professionals of a number of software packages that cater for students who struggle with literacy and who have writing, spelling, reading and comprehension difficulties.

This day is designed for those new to Dreamweaver, or who wish to revist the basics and to become familiar with the new features of this latest version.

Fireworks MX 2004
Fireworks facilitates the design, optimisation and integration of web graphics. The manipulation of graphics for web publishing is being used increasingly in teaching situations and in areas such as digital portfolios and at all levels. This new version has many important new features. The day is designed to introduce teachers to this software, but also to take teachers into advanced concepts as the day progresses.

Authorware 7
Authorware allows you to produce rich-media courseware for e-learning applications for delivery on corporate networks, CD/DVD, and the Web. Designed for staff who are responsible for, or who may be interested in exploring eLearning applications. IBM Compatible laptops only. This day is designed for those new to Authorware, or who wish to revist the basics and to become familiar with the new features of this latest version.
