National Conference Funding (ACEC)

ACEC 2014 Conference, Adeliade
In the year of a national conference (ACEC), members who are presenting at the conference or who are involved in the organisation of the conference may apply for funding to assist with travel and conference registration.

In return, members who receive conference funding will be required to write a report for either Interface or the ICT in Education journal on their return from the ACEC conference.

Expressions of interest should include evidence / support documentation of involvement with the ACEC conference (i.e. Presenter / Organiser).

Expressions of interest must reach the ICTEV office one month before the ACEC conference via email to joedy.wallis@ictev.vic.edu.au subject line should read: Expression of interest for ACEC 2014.

Research Grants

Each year members who are conducting research into the use of ICT in education will have the opportunity to apply for research funding from ICTEV.

Applications should include a description of the proposed research. Applications must reach the ICTEV office via email to joedy.wallis@ictev.vic.edu.au subject line should read: Application for Research Grant.

University Thesis Awards

Each year ICTEV will present an award to the student who produces the best ICT thesis in the Faculty of Education at a Victorian university. The teaching staff at the respective universities conducts selection of the best theses.

The award shall consist of:

  • a certificate
  • individual membership of ICTEV for one calendar year
  • a cheque for $100
  • registration for the ICTEV state conference in the following year.


In return recipients of the award are required to write an article for the ICT in Education journal and present at the ICTEV state conference.
