Using ICT in the languages classroom is an effective way of engaging students in their learning. The internet and iPod Touch/iPad contain a wealth of resources for teachers to create an ICT rich learning environment for the teaching of languages and cultures. During the day, participants will be introduced to several online resources and apps that will allow students (and themselves) to create engaging content using the language they are learning (or teaching). Participants will be given lots of time to experiement with the introduced tools.
This hands-on workshop is for primary and secondary language teachers who want to develop their skills in ICT, particularly beginners.
Required:
Participants need to bring their own iPhone/iPad/Android device and their own laptop to this hands-on workshop. Please ensure that your devices and laptops can accept another wireless network.
