Thursdays With ICTEV Webinar Series: Creating a Safe and Effective Digital Culture

For those who are new to the ICTEV professional development program, ICTEV hosts a free interactive webinar series that takes place one Thursday afternoon each month starting at 4:00pm EST.

The one hour webinar provides great practical tips and resources as well as the opportunity to extend your professional learning network through a fun and friendly open forum.

2013's first webinar will be presented by eSmart schools who will focus on how to encourage and support the safe and effective use of learning technologies.

Especially early in the year, setting the foundations of sustainable culture of practice around the safe and effective use of learning technologies at your school is crucial. Establishing effective and protective policies as well as a sound and consistent curiculum about the expectations and dangers of exploration is both a resposnsiblity of each school as well as an absolute efficiency for those that want to open up their classroom walls and connect their students with external learning opportunities and communities.

The webinar will explore tools and resources to support your class and school to establish a culture of safe and effective learners and will give participants the chance to ask questions and share experiences.
